About your collection schedule:
	Some customers are assigned a color that determines their collection day; some customers are assigned a two-day window.
	Your subscription recycling collection day may be different from your trash-collection day.
	There are no collections on holidays observed by the City of Columbus. The observed holidays are:
	New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
NOTE: Collection days are not affected by Good Friday or Veteran's Day holidays.
For those assigned a color-collection day:
The collection day moves forward one day after every observed holiday. These customers can call their collection-color hotline, (614) 645-[YOUR COLOR]; example: 645-NAVY (6289), to determine their current collection day. To print out monthly color-collection calendars,  click here.
For those assigned a two-day collection window:
Holidays do not affect trash-collection days for residents receiving Dumpster, compactor or 300-gallon container collection. For customers with wheeled containers who are assigned a two-day window instead of a color, regular collection will normally occur on the first day of the two-day window. During the week of an observed holiday, collection will occur on the second day of the window for those customers whose regular collection window comes after the holiday.
Subscription recycling:
Subscription-recycling collection is delayed one day after each holiday, the week of the holiday only. (Friday collections occur on Saturday the week of a holiday.)
