Starting Monday August 27, 2018 through mid-December 2019, the Refuse Division will be notifying affected residents about replacing 300 gallon containers with 90 gallon containers. A notice with details about this transition is being mailed to residents in affected areas prior to new 90 containers being delivered.
Following is the conversion schedule:
April 2019; Georgesville Road Station; boundaries: N-Sullivant Ave, S- Mound St, E-Whitethorne Ave, W-Highland Ave. Front curb collection will begin Thursday, April 18, 2019.
May 2019; Alum Creek Station; boundaries: Area #1: N-Bryden Rd, S-Astor Rd, E-Enfield/Chesterfield Rd, W-Gould Rd. and Area #2: N-E. Livingston Ave, S-College Ave, E-S Cassingham Rd, W-Alley west of Euclaire Ave. Pink front curb collection will begin Friday, May 17, 2019.
June 2019; Stephen Lennon Center; boundaries: N-9th Ave, S-5th Ave, E-Grant St, W-6th Street. Front curb collection start date to be determined.

The "3-1-1" initiative strives to help City agencies provide efficient service delivery by allowing them to focus on their core missions, manage workloads efficiently, provide insight into the needs of residents, and measure how well services are delivered.
